Okay, everything should be all set now. Booked on a later (now direct) flight to Denver. Re-scheduled shuttle service from Denver to Fort Collins. Reserved hotel in Fort Collins for tonight. Re-scheduled pick-up from Fort Collins from the center to Saturday morning.
Whew. All done.
Unfortunately, I'll miss the orientation and facilities tour, and the introductory dinner at the center tonight. Ditto for lunch at the center tomorrow, as they won't be picking me up in Fort Collins until noon tomorrow. But I apparently won't miss any of the program as it was scheduled to being until after lunch tomorrow anyway, the morning was going to be open time to basically do whatever we wanted.
Still, it feels like I'm missing half the retreat. I've now only got the second half of Saturday and Sunday morning to spend at the center. Bad enough it wasn't even the program I wanted to attend to begin with, but now a lot of my time at the center is lost.
What a disaster this trip has turned out to be. I'm so frazzled and stressed out right now that I'm really going to have to work at decompressing before I get there or I'll never enjoy myself while I'm there. So far, I'd have had a more relaxing weekend if I'd just stayed the fuck home instead. Grr.
Ah well… as long as I get to see Melissa for a while, it will all be worth it.
So now I have to start fretting out that. With the regularity of the problems I've already encountered with this trip, I'm now all freaked out that that's going to somehow get screwed up too. So much for relaxing, eh? I won't be exhaling that breath until she's standing in front of me Sunday afternoon.
*sigh*
I need a drink…
