Well… guess who missed his flight…
Thanks to an hour plus wait in the security line, I was unable to make my plane. I got to the airport an hour-and-a-half ahead of my departure time, and it was still not enough. And I wasn't alone, it seemed half the people in the line were missing their flights. (Of course, on my way back out of the airport the security line was empty.)
So I'm rescheduled on a direct flight to Denver at 5:50pm tonight, so I'll at least still get to Colorado at some point today. The only problem is I won't arrive until well after my program's registration has closed, so I might not be able to attend the retreat when I get there. The center's office doesn't open for another hour, so I'll call them then and find out what I can do then.
Retreat or not, I'm still going. If I just end up hanging out in Denver until Melissa gets back Sunday morning, so be it.
