Well, it’s official, the reservations are made and paid for. I’m finally taking the retreat I’ve been blathering on about for months now. I haven’t booked my plane tickets yet, but I’ll get that taken care of next week. And so the traveling and vacation-taking begins!
Even better, this means I get to see my friend Melissa again! I think I’m more excited about that than I am about the retreat. *laugh* She won’t be attending the retreat, but I’ll get to see her beforehand as she was kind enough to be my cab to and from the airport. Plus, she’s offered to let me crash at her place Sunday night so I can stay an extra day and we can have some time to hang out, bond, and generally re-connect.
*sigh*
Between all that, and the new Half-Life game released today (which is, thus far, completely awesome!) I’m feeling pretty gosh darned good right now. This is a smile I won’t be able to wipe off my face for a while. *smile*
