I had hoped to finally get some proper rest this weekend after my lack of sleep throughout the week last week, but it never seemed to happen.
I was up before 8am both Saturday and Sunday. I was up until around midnight Saturday, falling asleep on the couch watching Dirty Jobs sometime between 11pm and midnight, and went to bed all proper-like around 3am. Last night, it was close to 11pm before I dragged myself into bed again. Back up at 6am this morning.
All in all, a regular night's sleep. But not the extra sleep I felt like I needed to get back on track. Still dragging a little, but I guess I won't fight it. I trust my mind and body to take whatever rest it needs.
