I got a little scare from my iPod this morning when it appeared to have died. I went to use it in the car this morning, and it wouldn't boot. It would show the black boot up screen with the Apple logo, and then the screen would get all garbled and it would shut off. Gah!
Turns out that it had apparently locked itself up when I shut my Mac down last night, and drained the battery down to nothing overnight. I had to leave it plugged in for a few minutes before it could even get enough juice to boot up and mount on the Mac desktop. Yeesh!
Though, it is still under warranty, so if it had died I might have gotten a new one to replace it. And the new one would have probably been one of the newer 80GB models. *shrug*
