Got the last of my stuff out of the old apartment and into the new one today. Thankfully my sister was kind enough to come over and help me finish today, because I am really sore today, and my knee is still causing me a great deal of pain (no idea what happened there!) Also good she came over to help as I had forgotten an entire closet of stuff yesterday, which included a big rack of music gear. Said rack did not fit in my car, but it did hers, so w00t for that.
As far as unpacking goes, the kitchen is mostly unpacked and that’s about it so far. I just got the computers hooked back up and running (the post last night was from my laptop) more because I’m too sore to do anything major today than because I’m a big geek and felt the need to get the computers running before anything else. *laugh* Plus, that’s the room that’s the biggest mess, so it seems like a good place to start.
Now, I just need to find my checkbook. So far, no luck, which is getting me a little antsy. Especially as I need to pay my rent tomorrow morning (I was really supposed to have yesterday, but couldn’t due to said missing checkbook.)
