It looks like I'll be spending three days in San Jose the first week of November, flying out October 31st and returning on November 2nd. It's work related, so it's likely to be fairly boring and I probably won't get to see much of the city, but at least I'll finally be able to say I've been to California (and did it on someone else's dime!)
Though, there's been some more forward movement this week on a permanent full-time job I've been vying for since the beginning of September, so I might end up getting that job and getting pulled from the road trip. Which I won't mind one bit, I'd rather have the good job and no trip to California than keep the crappy job and get to travel.
