I'm currently contracted with a subsidiary of Ernst & Young, the largest (I think) auditing firm in the United States, and one of the only large auditors to make it through the Enron-era book-cooking accounting scandals completely unscathed.
Every day they send out these "Daily Connection" e-mail newsletters detailing the goings-on within the company, and there was a particularly interesting one today. Tomorrow is "National Coming Out Day" and Ernst & Young to promote their "bEYond" group, which is "E&Y's People Resource Network for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) E&Y people and their friends."
Pretty cool that a company as large (and politically conservative) as E&Y is not only accepting of this, but is going so far as to promote it. Though, I do have to wonder how well this is going over in some of the more backwater areas, like here in Ohio.
